I hope that recent activity will not be taken as the generalised behaviour of former members of House Slytherin. Some of us have been given to better behaviour and more propriety, at least.

I feel very ashamed on all of your behalves.

I regret if any of my actions reflect poorly on myself or my family. I believe that on a whole, however, my actions were justified. Considering the circumstances.

It was not primarily you who I was pointing this at, Tracey. And you were under considerable provocation at the time.

Well, thank you for that. I agree that more discretion all around would behoove us all. And I include myself in that equation.

I don't think anything would be harmed by more discretion all around, but most particularly among us. But I doubt I need to give you the lecture about how we need to be more careful than most in days like these.

There appears to be a large insect making nonsensical marks on my journal pages. I'll have to look up an extermination charm.

Yeah, yeah, very clever. Certainly everyone would agree you've improved on "Potter Stinks".

But you have to know how odd it is to see you lecturing on about propriety and good behaviour.

Now, what could that incantation be? I seem to remember there being a good charm for this. Very squishy.

Yes, yes, I'll take the lecture to heart.

Then you can start with the one about how little sarcasm suits. But good.

Sarcasm is only ill fitting when one doesn't appreciate its subtleties, Draco.

It does provide huge amounts of amusement for everyone else though, and pride comes before a fall - they should have known that!

Oh, and you've always been the paragon of virtue? I agree that perhaps not all of us have behaved in the best possible way, but really...

Well he always has enjoyed trying to tell the rest of us what to do.

Yes, and it appears that old habits die hard, eh?
