Time to get drunk...

Though I sincerely doubt it, some idiot out there may decide I'm a raging bitch because of this. Ah, well. Good for you, if you do. At least you've the balls to have an opinion ( Read more... )

If you're a bitch, I am too. I didn't even hear about the 9/11 thing until one of the OB's nurses started crying hysterically. I was upset, too, but I thought I was having a miscarriage, and didn't give a rat's ass about anyone in the bloody World Trade Center. I actually had to ask if she was going to cancel my appointment or what...hurrah for being totally insensitive!

Lol. I can imagine the look you got when you asked about your appointment. I guess if I'd been in NYC or something I might have been a little more affected.

Come to think, NYC people are really nice now. Go fig.

I dunno, if I lived there, I'd probably use the threat "and I'll crash my plane into your house!"

I don't think you're a bitch for writing that. I live in Australia and I'm sick to death of tv specials of That Day. Sure, a lot of people died and it was a tragedy but ultimately it is time every one started to move on. After all, five years have passed!

And don't even start me on Crocodile Hunter and Peter "Peter Perfect" Brock specials....

LOL! I about died laughing when I heard about him. I knew that would happen too, just because of his job! Though the fact that it occured during a vacation (or so I hear?) is even more hilarious.

i don't think you're a bitch, either.

i'm so, so tired of listening about it. i think we've run it into the ground at this point. my boyfriend, who spent a year in iraq, was bitching yesterday about how the news programs wouldn't stfu about it.

i mean, it's sad. i feel awful for the people who were killed. and i know it's tragic and i'm not trying to make light of it.

but more people get killed in car accidents than died in those two buildings, yet just because planes didn't crash into their cars, no one really cares. it's strange what the media chooses to focus on.
