Humans are very self involved beings, and that's not a bad thing, not one bit. I mean, who better to be interested, and involved in, than yourself. Like, it's good to say positive things about yourself, always, actually. You should only give yourself about five minutes a day to dis-like yourself

'Unless, you consider parents, that love to see their kid's succeed, but I think the reason why that is, because in a way, it shows that their succeeding at the same time.'

I couldn't speak for other parents, but I'm pretty sure that my parents want me to succeed because they love me, as I would love to see my brothers and even my friends to succeed. It has nothing to do with how it makes me or my parents look.

Hm, yeah, I was going a little negative on that bit, seeing as I was being negative, but trying to cover it up with layers, and layers of postivine-ness..

Hmm, seemed to come out the way I wanted it to though.
