Summary: Fairly Morgana-centric, slight angst, multiship. Morgana and Arthur grow up, Arthur and Gwen sneak around, Gwen and Lancelot are unsubtle, and Morgana and Merlin trade secrets

Wow! That was awesome! I especially loved the line where they were talking about Arthur and Gwen being together and Morgana was like, "If I ask nicely maybe she'll give me a kiss too," or something like that. I think I read that line like, six times just because I found it so funny! Haha. Great work, though. I always enjoy reading your Merlin stories ^^
I thought this really captures a sense of the intricate and relationships between the 4 of them. I loved Arthur and Morgana's relationship especially - I thought the banter and unspoken care was perfect.
And I thought the characterisation was really good. I particularly liked Arthur. I feel for him in a way in this, because even though he's the Prince/King he seems the most powerless.
My heart aches for the Arthur, Gwen, Merlin and Morgana on the show if their story ends up along the lines of the popular legend because none of them have happy endings as such, but I adore the hope in this one. (In my head, I take comfort that Gwen is only seemingly gone, and the 4 are reunited in someway and they all click together :) )
Arthur/Morgana is my favourite, as you probably guessed. And I like writing Arthur most. It kind of annoys me when people just write him as a brat (I mean, he is a bit of a brat, but in a sympathetic and endearing way...).
In my head Gwen and Lancelot go and make a life for themselves (like in Malory) while Merlin, Morgana and Arthur go to Avalon and have some everlasting polygamous relaionship. But, you know, construe it any way you like :)
Tremendously beautiful prose pairing some of the most brilliant and frightening parts of legend with the series canon. Your presentation of the characters as melds between both stories is amazing and I cannot fault your characterization on anything throughout the course of this. The progress of the fic and the fluid nature thereof is equally brilliant and all of it together lent itself to an amazing, amazing story.
