Finally, the computer works again!
I've managed to get my hands on Avatar up to Chapter 11. :D
The Beach: It was funny and all, but the fact that Mai, Zuko, and AZULA are having girly talks about their tragic childhood puts me off. Even with the whole "the beach is a magical place" excuse. Azula trying to get boys was funny, but... come on, it's Azula. One would think she'd be able to be more manipulative. Though now I want to ship Zuko/Ty Lee.
Still, LOL at Zuko, with quotes such as "I thought it was pretty", "That food's for my cranky girlfriend" and "She just called your aura dingy! Are you gonna take that?!". Also, Azula looked especially pretty with her hair tied up like that, and despite how... strange the episode was, it was funny. It's not as illogical as Sokka managing to learn and make his own sword out of a meteorite in two days.
The Runaway: I've always liked seeing the bond between Katara and Toph, it's really cute. Besides, it was funny seeing Toph act like "Who, me? I'm just an innocent blind girl" while scamming scammers.
The Puppetmaster: Oh, I've been anticipating for the idea of Bloodbending! I actually really liked Hama, even though I think being a prisoner of the Fire Nation hurt her head a bit (okay, a lot). What can I say, she looked cool doing Bloodbending, though the part where her veins bulged was scary.
And lastly... the invasion. First things first.
1) GO GO ZUKO. Yeah, tell that to your father (but all that talk about "destiny" reminds me of Neji from Naruto). I'm glad that the boy finally came to his senses (not that he hasn't been angsting for the last few episodes...)
2) I love the tanks (especially the things that look like giant metal caterpillars)! But what I love the most is how plenty of Fire Nation's soldiers are women (unlike the Water Tribe *cough*)! They have a very spunky costume, too, that reminds me of wayang somehow (the helmet?)! The point is, they are very cool. Also, there was one of the swamp Waterbenders that looked somewhat cute (?)
3) The idea of Azula/Sokka now appeals to me. Albeit in a very dysfunctional way. There's no way it'd work out happily. But most importantly...
4) HARU'S MOUSTACHE OH GOD. OH GOD. AHAHAHAHAHA. VERY VERY HILARIOUS. No matter how I look at it, I can't take it seriously.
