Sounds great, I highly recommend seeing them. Glad to oblige.
I had no idea that the front man was the same guy. He's great. Seems to me I've heard Coal Chamber and was less than impressed, but maybe I should re-visit my thoughts on that.
Nightwish should be a great show. Have you seen Lacuna Coil? I'm on the fence about Iced Earth as I'm a bit unsure about "Ripper" Owens fronting them. Children should rock. If Helloween's in your town definately check them out - they're amazing. \m/
Interestingly enough - the "VIP's" for the box at the show never showed up. That really chaps my hide. A lot of folks that are in the industry are just in it to look impressive and feed their egos. A lot of them think that metal is beneath them. I have no time for any of that.
They'd have been impressed by that show if they'd deigned to show up. In most theaters I've worked in, if the VIPs don't show up 15 minutes before curtain, their seats are no longer reserved and anyone can take them. Wish that was a universal policy. Actually I'd like to see no VIP seating at all - if you're that important, you've already got a backstage pass, and you'll see the band after the show.

Did you know that the frontman of Devil Driver is also the frontman of Coal Chamber?
Nightwish is also touring in the summer and Iced Earth and Children of Bodom are touring in May I believe?
