Every time I try to see Mike Patton, he is almost always with The Melvins, except now he's touring with god knows who. I'm debating on seeing Fantomas. eehhhh.

Fantomas is my favorite of Patton's semi-permanent outfits. I hate that the new album is one long track though. When you've seen him was he fronting the Melvins or were they just touring together? I think the last thing he did here in town was an a cappella(sp?) thing though.

Yeah, Every time he's scheduled to gig here in NYC, they cancel! They were touring together as far as I know. i was supposed to see them on Halloween a year or so back (When Director's Cut came out)I did everything to get tix. they moved the venue three times then canceled. The new album is not my thing. As much as i Love patton, random noise is not that groovy. I most likely won't see them.

that's a real drag. Maybe you could contact his management and see what the hell is up. Some of the folks at Ipecac are really cool. I think Rai is based out your way but don't tell her I mentioned it here I'll disavow any knowledge. ;)

Definitely! Things are less crazy now that the new issue has been sent off to the printer. Also: did you hear about the X show at GAMH on April 25th?

I really tried to make a coherent post - but failed so I fixed that sentence. Yeah, you rock and that was a fun time. I'd love to see X! I wish I lived at the GAMH.
