I finally found a program that can recover data! It's called Stellar Phoenix NTFS Data Recovery. I only have a trial version, right now, and haven't actually recovered any files, but I had it do a scan, and almost all my data was there- including all the stuff I REALLY want. the full, retail version costs $100, though, so I'm a little loathe to buy ( Read more... )

Life has been alright lately. boring, and kind of depressing still, but alright. I'm getting recovery software to recover stuff off my hard drive. the MFT was corrupted, and I think there might be something physically wrong with the hard drive. I should send it back to Hitachi when I get the chance.
