So I'm one of the few people left in the developed world who have not seen any of the Star Wars movies.  Any of them.  I've been told that my geekiness levels fall exponentially, that I'm a disappointment, that I haven't LIVED until I've seen these epic films

The original movies (episodes IV - VI) are delightful. Enjoy, and not just for the very young and dishy Harrison Ford. Frank Oz's Yoda never ceases to crack me up. And do yourself a favor and skip episodes I-III. They're execrable.

Thanks! I'm going to borrow them from a friend first, I think... and I'm pretty sure I'll love them (science fiction and fantasy are my favourite genres) so soon I'll probably be writing about how I'm kicking myself for having not watched them sooner.
