I had heard of V: TM-B and Bard's Tale, and I have the release dates at home, but have heard nothing about them. Got a recommendation?

The original Vampire: The Masquerade is great, recently repurchased the Platinum re-release of it. I have high hopes for Bloodlines, though they are taking a step in a different direction making it first-person or third person, which could effectively make it a shitty FPS RPG.

I used to play Bard's Tale 3, or 4, with my dad. 8-bit graphics, hand-drawn dungeon maps on graphing paper, totally great game, and really got me in to video games and computers. With the actor who played Dread Pirate Roberts in Princess Bride doing the voice of the main character, hopefully it will be a hoot. Graphics look sub-par in comparison to some games out now, but gameplay is what really matters, as you and I both know, because pretty graphics does not a good game make.

Granted. For example: Fable. Good, coulda been better if not for the excessive polish.

Could have been more open, and less straight forward
