Okay, that's it, I can't take this any more. How is it so damn calm around here? Countries are being wrecked by tidal waves because the sky moon is falling. The atmosphere will have a tower of dust and fire reaching to the heavens, and the impact's shock wave itself very well will probably carry through the planet to the other side, and that's ( Read more... )

...Couldn't we teleport or otherwise move the moon back into orbit? I can't believe that the technology to erase the moon from reality could exist without the technology to put it back where its supposed to be.

You'd be surprised, but sure that's good too. My point is that things actually, for once, can't be much worse.

The moon could announce it will stop descending if you hand over Hildebrand to it immediately?

No, see, that would be better. I would gladly move in with the Man on the Moon and operate Hildebrand for him since he's too big.

I'm still personally holding out hope that the people living there are not a lost cause. Which they would be if we got rid of it entirely.

The moon's not going to survive crashing into us either.

Well that just means that we need a solution that doesn't get rid of the moon entirely. Aside from that, simply pushing it back where it belongs would be better for weather patterns, and we wouldn't lose the mineral resources.

That's fine. Let's get started. Let's do something.

I don't think even I have enough missiles to do that!

Well, great. Back to the bucket list.

I don't suppose you've hunted any dangerous game with a bow before. You think it's worth doing once?

I've hunted the SF Cosmo Gang with a giant robot! The weapon is different, but the spirit is surely the same!

I'll take that as a yes?

But there are still people there! Even if we can destroy the moon somehow, there must be some other way to handle this, without sacrificing them!

You know what, there's people down here. More of them.

I know, but sacrifice a few to save many? That's not how we should do stuff. We should try to protect everyone...

You can't save everyone. It's as possible as making everyone happy.

Hmm..........

No, nothing quite that big, to my knowledge.

Aren't you with that extra dimensional government?

I work for the Time-Space Administration Bureau, yes.

I don't suppose you do inter-dimensional aid efforts like... evacuating worlds.
