Training for using a longbow? That's not exactly top of the line equipment anymore.

It's true that archery itself is archaic, but that doesn't mean there's nothing to be gained from it.

The strength it requires to pull a bow is more than most people think. You can't do it with your arms alone. You pull the bow with your shoulders, and your back. You have to do it right, and it can get tiring fast...
