This is amazing. These researchers have taken a collection of rat neurons and essentially plugged them into a computer flight simulator. It's learning. Interesting stuff indeed. It'll work (at least in theory) for some ideas I've got that frankly, I think I'll get away with (at least in a novelist sense).
