Gamer buys $26,500 virtual landThis guy spent 26 grand on a virtual piece of land. That fact in itself just makes this guy sound like a nut. But he's going to make money on this land by taxing anyone that enters his little island to hunt and whatnot, and he's going to sell plots for people that want to build homes and such. Check out Eve Online, if you're not familiar with the MMO.

It's a PVP based sci-fi game.

I was selling rare loot, and all kinds of ships, plus cash. Eve currency went for about 1million credits to 1.2 USD. (Although that kept changing, and I'm not sure what stuff sells for now that you're dollar has dropped.)

I did most of my sales through Ebay. :P
