Title: I’d Give You My Eyes Pairing/Focus: Myungsoo/Sungyeol Rating: PG Word count: 1822 words Summary: Myungsoo can’t help but hate Sungyeol, sometimes.
Oh, I am so delighted by this! People almost never write their relationship the way I see it, but this exactly the way I see it.
lines of a script that he hasn’t made a single mark on, except for the faint stamp of oil from his fingertips as he ran them along each line. Sungyeol’s scripts - when he gets them, and Myungsoo can’t help but feel guilt for appealing more - are an explosion of colour, motivation and understanding staining Sungyeol’s hands when a marker rolls astray.
I love this detail.
Maybe sometimes Myungsoo wishes that Sungyeol would let him hold on just a bit longer. Maybe Sungyeol could reach out and tangle their fingers together for once, or pull him close enough to kiss, instead of Myungsoo always always making that first move.
OH DAMN. This is so realistic. Like: really. If they were ever really together, I am 100% Myungsoo would feel exactly this way.
. He could spend hours just running his hands over every line, every curve - if Sungyeol would hold for that. It’s not that Myungsoo begrudges him his

. But sometimes Myungsoo walks past a mirror and stops and stares because there's a moment of disconnect. He knows he's got eyes and a nose and teeth, but the person in the mirror has teeth and a nose and eyes don't match up with the picture of himself Myungsoo carries around in his head.
I have a lot of ~thoughts about Myungsoo’s relationship with his face, and this totally matches up with all of them.
When he’s with Sungyeol, Myungsoo tends to forget he has a body. He gets so caught up realising Sungyeol’s body that his own is relegated to the back of his mind, noticed only when it comes into contact with Sungyeol’s: the brush of their arms, their ankles looped, the exposed strip of skin of Sungyeol’s back when his shirt rides up and Myungsoo takes advantage and reaches out.
YES.
It kills him a little, just drags him down inside, that Sungyeol doesn’t.
I KNOW.
Myungsoo realises it’s not entirely healthy, the way he wants to crawl inside Sungyeol’s head and make sure he’s never thinking of anything else but Myungsoo, because

This is so lovely and perfect. And I ought to leave a long, gushing comment with all the details of your perfection.... this Myungsoo, with all his overwhelming longing and obsession and lack of balance, is my precious monster.
But Smartphones are not clever enough by half and I needed you to know right away.
This was really lovely. I really enjoyed it and it felt like myungsoo could have really felt the set in vs if his stares and happy smiles when attached sungyeol's back are anything to go by. Thanks for writing by. Th is lovely fic even if I wasn't the intended recipient
reading this was like going through a rollercoaster of emotions and after i was done the first time i had to go over it again, just to make sure i had absorbed everything. this is probably one of my favourite myungyeol fics because it's told so straightforwardly and bittersweet and so true to how i think the inside of myungsoo's head work look like ;___;
this is my favourite line! But Sungyeol shakes his head at him, tells him “Sleep in your own bed. It’s just easier, okay?” and he’d turned away before Myungsoo could argue that he didn’t want easier
