Aaaaaaaaargh I need to write so much violently conflicted meta on the new Dresden Files book but I have NO ENERGY
suffice it to say that while Butters is still my favorite character and I would have loved that ending if I didn't think much about it, I did think about it and it was MASSIVELY unfair to Murphy, and I see what you did there Butcher because you did it to Hannah Ascher too, along with prioritizing Nicodemus's guilt about Dierdre over any reaction Tessa might have had, and what happens when Butters uses the sword to defend Andi, huh? Huh??? Or is it only an impure motive when we're talking about a girl?
And if you're going to pull the Jewish Knight card you might want to put anything AT ALL of Jewish origin in this series (which is already packed with Christian and Greek and Celtic folklorish mythological figures) aside from the bare fact that this or that character says they're Jewish

but on the other hand Michael AAAAAAAAH and Ninja Butters AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH and other things I can't think of right now because of aforementioned no energy
