Plant Signs

Jul 21, 2010 18:36

If you noticed the plants around the hall areas and in the Herbology class room (which I think was Pacifica 11?), they all had little signs on them. Posting these just in case you didn't get to read them all and wanted to (also I know that I ended up writing more than the number of plants, so I think one or two of them never got posted). :D

I'm so glad you posted this. I saw the plants behind me when I was in that room, listening to a panel, but didn't get the chance to examine them more closely. Thank you for giving me a second chance to appreciate the creativity!

Thanks for this! I was going around trying to read all the signs, but I definitely missed some.

Wow, impressive work!

I only read a few at the con, so I'm glad you posted them here.

These were great; I loved finding all the little signs here and there.

By the way, the science museum here in Houston has a plant commonly known as a Corpse Flower--it blooms rarely, and for 48 hrs. smells like dead flesh (so it can attract the beetles that pollinate it). The whole thing seemed like something out of the HP novels!

The Corpse Flower is exactly what I based The Stink Flower on, and I totally agree with you, it sounds exactly like something that would be studied in Herbology. :D
