I’ve been thinking of Halloween costumes, and I have finally come up with an idea I want to pursue, Judas of Iscariot. The notion is to represent the apostle as dead after he had hung himself. Yesterday afternoon, while downtown, I went and saw ‘Corpse Bride’, at the Meridian cinema. The film was playing closer to my house at the Neptune Theatre, but I couldn’t allow myself to see this movie on a smaller screen. Indy flicks, dramas, romantic comedies are great on a small screen. 101 dollars for speeding. That is what ticket I was just handed a few minutes ago reads. Why 101? Does the Seattle Police Department have a secret Disney connection or does that dollar really add up with every ticket they give. Why not 102? Who is going to question 102? So I have changed shoes. I can’t stand the squeaky Sketchers any longer. The ones I’m wearing though aren’t that comfortable, blue leather John Fluvog boots, but at least I am silent going down the street. I still will need another pair of shoes.
