KATEKYOU HITMAN REBORN!
|| one sentence/drabble/snippet/fic meme||

Pimping the post out like a boss. Go and comment/fill to your heart's desire~

And down below are some of the fills I've filled. C: I really like these short ones, so let's see how you guys think.

She's the port, the in-between, the link that connects them all together.

He comes in the dead of the night, always wanting the same thing. She calls for -what? Her savior? - and he takes her body as she lets him in, but she's always there: watching, waiting until morning when both leave her naked and alone.

It's the same thing tonight.
But then it's not, she realizes.
They both arrive, and she's still there but not in mind like always.

And of course, he asks her all sweet and gentle, but she doesn't miss the glint in his ruby eye. Nor does she miss the way he glances at the other for confirmation. She doesn't say a word as they strip her, leaving her bare as her skin reflects the moonlight shining in through the broken glass. She doesn't say a word as they both enter, tearing her in two, her cries muffled behind rough hands. She doesn't say a word when they kiss, leaving her own lips feeling alone and lost. When morning comes, it's the same anyway.

Both leave her naked and alone.
But she can't complain.
After all, she's the in-between.

His lips wander endlessly - the softest they've ever been - he wonders if today's special.

"Hibari," he begins, but a quick peck to the lips, and he's silent; pink already blooming in his cheeks. There's not much to say, but thoughts are running in circles in his head before he realizes that the skylark is looking expectantly back at him, waiting. He knows what the skylark wants.

Would he give it to him?
He knows better than to tease.

A brush of the lips - fleeting touches - a bit of pressure, then butterfly kisses are merely a memory.

The words are on the tip of his tongue, but nothing comes out.

He thinks:
If I had done things differently.
If I wasn't so weak.
If loyalty didn't overshadow love.
If I could say
If I could say
If I could say-

The words are on the tip of his tongue, but they're not the words he wants to say.

Her sighs are sweet sounding to the ear, her moans echoing inside his head. Together with her gasps, they form the ultimate symphonies - ones he cant get enough of. His hands gripping her hips, hers wound tightly around his neck - the feel of her against him is more than what he expected.

He realizes there's more to this girl than what he thought.

Suddenly - too sudden for her - he increases the tempo, wanting more of her orchestra of flesh and bone as she gives him all he could take, all she could give. The sounds, the textures, the rhythm: something about this makes him fearful. Fearful of what she could do to him, but he pushes the thoughts aside as she reaches the climax of her song and then...

...and then there is silence.

Hibari walks with his head high, posture straight, ignoring the people around as they deliberately avoid his path. Ten years later, and nothing has changed. Nothing except time eroding away distant memories of an Italian man that merely served as a tool for gaining a higher purpose and nothing more.

Dino walks with his head high, posture straight, greeting the people around him with deliberate kindness. Ten years later, and nothing has changed. Nothing except time eroding away distant memories of a Japanese boy that was merely a student of his for an ally family and nothing more.

Nothing more except that time is cruel, and it takes away what was once precious. What were once lovers faded into strangers. What was once love faded into empty promises.

Their paths intercross, but neither gives the other a second glance.

They are phantoms to each other, nothing more.

She's not sure how she made it on top.

One moment, Yamamoto's kisses burn everywhere they touch; a single brush, and she's on fire. The next moment, she's planting kisses and touching her like she was some precious jewel. Only when the baseball idiot smirks at her with a quiet, "Come on, baby," does Gokudera relent.

Lighting fires was something of her specialty anyway.

Something about his gaze terrifies her.

The way his eyes flash as he fights, the brief glances in her direction. Mukuro whispers it into her ear:

"Don't worry, my little Chrome. It's not you he's looking for."

She wonders if that's why she's falling apart.

I'll be filling out more, but probably in another post =w=+
