Disclaimer: As fake as my awesome state of health.
Summary: It would only be later, though, when Paul tells John that he looked uncannily like the spitting image of a future king past. John would nod in response, but he would hold his tongue about how Paul looked (still looks?) like a constellation, John's own ( Read more... )

Very, very lovely. :) I feel like I'm always saying the same thing to you, but your writing is just fabulous.

I'm speechless. And congratulations, you are now the only author who has made me actually turn my music off while reading a story. This was just so beautifully written that I had to turn it off to fully appreciate it, because something this beautiful should have your full attention. Sorry Fratellis, you lose.
PS, I love your icon. Shawn and Gus are my two favorite people in the world.

You left me speechless. This is again so beautifully written and composed. You took me on trip with them....

Oh. I didn't know this was an acid trip. From the first few instances of abstract imagery I only assumed it was supposed to be a metaphoric representation of John's feelings about love and life, his love for Paul and the life he perceieves as getting emptier and emptier by the day (hence all the rainwater able to fill him up), and that you chose to write it all as a manifestation of the artistic works of John Lennon's iconic imagination.

Then, I do tend to read a lot into things, but in my defence it was your stunning writing that invited me to.

Did I read too much into Paul fixing the hole where the rain gets in? :)

XD it actually didn't start as an acid trip! but then i thought about the "how-paul-thought-john-looked-like-a-king-and-it-was-too-slashy-to-resist" thing and was all "why not"

i greatly appreciate your feedback! :D

and yessss, beautiful pun. didn't even catch it whilst writing, but that made my day a bit XD
