I really enjoyed this fic. The ending was quite fascinating and cryptic - with John and Paul together peacefully watching others run the same road. Maybe I need to read it again. :-)

I like your idea of Paul working the streets and John meeting him there, but since I wrote a fic with that in it as well, I'm probably biased. :-)

AH! I was having the same thought, except I wanted him to have run away to a drag bar in Hamburg and while being there meeting the adventurous John, leader of the band the Beetles.

Oh it was perfect my dear! Wonderful dialogue, fresh metaphors, and exquisite use of Jack. :) I loved it.

I was thinking New York, though - John's been looking out the same window at the same street corner for years and maybe even writes creepy poetry to Hooker!Paul and maybe almost backs out when he hires him, finally.

Also since he's seen Paul work at that one coffee shop he maybe accidentally orders a Frap when he walks up to Paul in the street.

This was wonderfully written. I love the disjointed phrases and dialogue, the descriptions, everything. This made me smile: No, it's not in the way that Paul seems to make air lighten with his smile or how John can charm the Queen with his wit or even how the two of them together could label the entire world in which they live "Copyright: Lennon/McCartney".
