Rating: PG-13
Pairing: John/Paul
Disclaimer: As fake as my hate of NCIS; title and cut belong to Taking Back Sunday.
Summary: Paul could have sworn to anyone that it was an infantile phase. (Also, all the words in italics are things that Paul thinks John will or should be saying to him; while reading it over, I feared it would be a little confusing.)

So sick of being tired, and oh so tired of being sick. )

Lorah. You seriously astound me. Your writing is so deep and eloquent, and it makes me go DDD: about my own stuff. You're amazing. And I hope you know that. I thought the whole teeth thing was really good. ily ♥
Now you should write about John being a pushy bottom on his birthday.

This was a work of art. Very painful and beautiful and REAL. I especially liked the bit about the glasses being so obvious now, and not something intimate and secret shared only with Paul. Because I did always like that John's Buddy Holly glasses were something only Paul and maybe a few others would see, and that it was such a mark of affection and trust. ^_^ Lovely touch, that, I thought.
Thank you very much for a lovely bedtime read. :)

And yeah, I really liked John's "Buddy Holly" look, and only Paul or close friends being able to see sort of gave John this cool enigma.

Anyway, the title you used sparked my interest and so I decided to just -ffs- go ahead and read it. Only to discover that this really is pretty amazing. I could feel Paul's pain and disgust, I felt my stomach actually clench and even though my eyes were dry I wanted to cry, more than anything, because of his pain. Bravo, very well done. (Yes this is a bit like a standing ovation ;))
