Those moments of pure, accomplished satisfaction are often indescribable to anyone but yourself. Doesn't have to be anything big.

I've gotten those feelings before when I've managed to make repairs without help, or solved difficult video game puzzles, or any other small accomplishment. It doesn't take anything big to make one happy.

Dude. I completely disagree with your first sentence.

I am a wordsmith and musician, describing how I feel to people outside myself is pretty much how I make my art. And my life is such that I don't really expect to reach the bigger goals, so I make the most out of my joy when I reach the smaller goals. And as a performing artist, my joy increases when I am able to fluently express my own joy creatively to another.

To the point that when I make these small, yet significant accomplishments, I need to describe it to a friend, I am compelled as an artist to share my emotion in the appropriate medium.
