1. What did you do in 2010 that you'd never done before?
Go to a (real) concert, see skating live, be in a (real, or non-church) play and seeing a professional one. Probably some other stuff I can't think of.
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I didn't make any last year. Next year, I'll probably resolve to something cliche, like losing weight. Or trying to make better grades.

No.

6. What would you like to have in 2011 that you lacked in 2010?
Security.

I don't know...
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
An A in AP Govt and 3 on the exam. Getting my learner's permit. xD That's about all I can think of.
9. What was your biggest failure?
All of my high B's that should have been A's.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
I had the flu over one of my school breaks. I had a bad ankle.. not exactly an injury, but it was inexplicably and extremely sore for like a month.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
A ticket to US nationals, if it ever comes...

Hm...
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Some people's in my family, Republicans.
14. Where did most of your money go?
I've no money to speak of! I bought a bunch of books and Indian stuff online after Christmas last year.

My new figure skating obsession/SOI. Meeting Jon, Eric, and Ryan. Healthcare reform.

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
a) happier or sadder? My life is kind of worse, but overall I would say I'm.. better-adjusted and less complaining. School has made me miserable at times.
b) thinner or fatter? Uh, both. The former now, the latter at the beginning.
c) richer or poorer? Poorer.
18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Going out/seeing friends, buying clothes because I barely have any, studying and focusing on school.

20. How will you be spending Christmas?
Well, there's been something of a schism in our family recently. I guess I'll be going to my dad's house as always a few days before, then make the rounds between the several new factions of my mom's relatives. I'll eat some stuff hopefully, and maybe get something other than bookstore gift cards this year.

Oh, where do I start. Yelle, Janelle Monae, Yann Tiersen, Lupe Fiasco, and Sufjan Stevens were probably the biggest.

My learner's permit.

I don't remember. SOI was my main birthday present. On the actual day I had to go to school. :/

Money. Isn't that terrible? But it's true.

I dress a little less awkwardly now. I'm slowly making the transition out of perpetual jeans and t-shirts. I got a bunch of cool/unique stuff this year I love wearing.

Did anything? Probably distractions.

Haha. Well.. probably James Franco or someone.
35. What political issue stirred you the most?
Healthcare, DADT, the House campaign I worked on over the summer for Frank Saunders.

Katie, after she moved to Alabama.

I haven't really met many new people..
38. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2010:
Um, to appreciate being a teenager even though I don't feel like a normal one sometimes. Time goes by incredibly quickly. Having little or no money makes you less materialistic and in a way, happier.
