Ty Lee - she gets a golden retriever puppy, along with assorted food, toys and accessories to keep it happy for a while. And a note:
Not everyone likes being stuck on the island, but I can’t help seeing the good side of it. I’ve been given a lot of opportunities that I never would have had otherwise, but one of the most important things is that I met you. You’re one of my closest friends, and I’m so glad that we have been able to get to know each other. Don’t hesitate to ask me if you need anything, okay? You don’t have to go it alone. I’ll always be here to support you. No matter what you need, big or small, just let me know, and I’ll do my best to help you. That’s what friends are for, right?
Fenris - a bottle of wine! Along with an invitation to spar whenever he likes.
Zhong Hui - COAL…
Jiang Wei - a note that says You still need to learn how to have fun. He gets a set of these book-ends, a selection of fine tea, and some hair products to keep it nice and shiny. Just to cover all bases.
Liu Shan - booze! Also some targets, made out of paper and straw and cardboard and similar things, so he can. Uh. Practice.
Ma Dai - booze. And a note that says ‘good luck with Atia’.
Xiahou Ba - flavoured lube (including bacon-flavoured) and condoms, a dozen red roses, some hair products, and some polish for his armour and sword. Those are the “normal” gifts. On top of that, he’ll receive a film camera, along with a hand-made scrapbook decorated with flowers (and it’s green, of course). The scrapbook is empty, except for detailed instructions in the front about how to use the camera. And a note from Guan Suo saying he’s not entirely sure how it works, but “this is what the guy in the store said”. Last but not least, with all of that, he’ll receive a letter.
Being stuck in a place like this… it’s hard, and you’ve been here even longer than me. But during my time here, I’ve realised a few things. One of those things is just how important you are to me. I’m glad that we’ve been given this chance to be together, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world. I know that either of us could wake up one day, and the other person will be gone, but… I have hope that we can make the most of the time that we do have. No matter how long or how short it is, I’ll be grateful to the goddess for letting me have this, even if she’s kind of a jerk about everything else.
That’s kind of the explanation for one of the gifts that I got you - it’s called a ‘camera’. I’ve tried to test it myself, but I wasn’t that good at it. It lets you take pictures. The guy at the store was judging me pretty badly when I said I didn’t know what a photo was, but the technology here is pretty good. It lets us preserve memories, and that’s what… I want to do with you. I want you to use this to document the time that you’ve got here, both with me and other people.
The scrapbook’s there for you to stick the pictures in, after you get them developed. But I want you to make a lot of good memories here, and use the camera to help you remember some of them. It’ll give you something to smile about, even when times are hard.
