I have broken the antenna off me poor cell phone! Again!

Work related injuries. Tsk.

An easy repair - I just have to buy a new antenna, they're surprisingly cheap - but anyone attempting to contact me before then may find reception... poor.

Yes, I repair my own cell phone.

No I don't need a new one.

It works fine.

You have a cell that still has (had) an external antenna? Isn't that like the 21st century equivalent of a can on a string?
