Had car accident yesterday

Yesterday morning on the way to work the car ahead of me stomped on the brakes.  Not wanting to plow into the back end of his car, I hit my brakes.  my CR-V went into a skid.  I kept it under control for several seconds, then must have hit a patch of ice under the snow and the vehicle slid off the road to the right.  I cut the wheel to recover and

The doctor says that I have a minor case of whiplash, so I have to wait a bit before I go for massage, but I asked him specifically about it since I saw your post first. He says it would be a good idea next week.

That is a horrendous pile of shit! :( I'm sorry the fuzz has such a racket going, taking money from people who just had a terrifying event! I hope your insurance can pay for your physical therapy and whatever else you'll need.

And it was the VT State Police, not small town fuzz. If it was small town I could have understood the ignorance, maybe. These guys are staties, though, and were rude enough to even TELL me it was little more than a state-sanctioned shakedown of motorists that have just had accidents.
