I'm amused by the comments in the thread about how capoeira isn't practical for streetfighting. My mestre likes to say that there is no best martial art--the example he always uses is, judo is great, but what if there are three people instead of one? And from what little I've seen of his capoeira, even now that he is past his prime physical condition, fighting off three or four people seems like it would be easy for him.
