I like porn. I watch porn at least once a week if not more often. of course I am a girl so I guess my opinion doesn't count, but I believe that as long as someone is not avoiding actual real-life sex for fapping, I couldn't care less. Maybe teenagers with no sex experience might start out with unrealistic expectations of their partners, but most of them grow up enough to deal with the farts, cellulite and morning breath of a real live woman.

The ones that can't probably weren't winners to begin with and I have no problem with them flushing their gene pool down the drain instead of some poor woman's snatch.

I think the people who indulge in a way that prevents them from having a healthy relationship have deeper issues than the porn itself, so maybe it is a good thing they have porn as an outlet else they may be going about crucifying bunnies or worse. Porn can be enjoyed and can enhance sexuality as much as it can fuck things up - ain't the porn that is the problem, it's the brain.

+1.
and on top of it all it feels a bit disingenuine for a woman (Naomi Wolfe) to explain how porn affects men, and other women to state thir opinion on this, (whether positive or negative) and me as the only guy even involved in the discussion glaringly refusing to say. :)

j/k .
IMHO Naomi's article placed WAAAY too much emphasis on "pornography".
To a horny teenage boy, 90% of life is potential pornpography from Victoria's Secret catalogs and SI Swimsuit issue to naked native boobs in Nat Geo ... my point being, it doessn't have much to do with success or disfunction of relationships between mature people.....

ppl respond to sex on a very primal/pavlovian level...like the bell and the drooling dog. This how fetishes are developed. So, if someone decides to program their brain in a certain manner they can't achieve orgasm unless "the bell rings ( ... )

"After all, it's just as natural as taking a shit."

That's a really disgusting analogy.
