Starting Over

I did something new yesterday. I pushed boundaries and maybe I did compromise some of my old principles but everything feels right so I don't think I made any mistakes this time.

This has been another mundane uneventful week for me but a lot of things seem to have fallen into place. Thursday was Kaitlyn's seventeenth birthday so I went to Barnes & Noble and got her No One Belongs Here More Than You by Miranda July (Katie I am still reading this but it is excellent, I am actually interrupting 'Something That Needs Nothing' to type this up - I am really loving this story also 'The Man On The Stairs' I believe it was, thank you so much for introducing this to me) along with a small book that had the first lines to famous plays, novels, poems, etc.. and a bar of raspberry filled chocolate. I drew a picture and wrapped everything up in all four seasons. Next I got a big pair of sunglasses and a hooded sweater (notwithstanding the heat and ninety percent humidity) and whilst incognito, obnoxiously rang the doorbell and knocked on the door, then I ran. Apparently nobody was home but Kaitlyn found everything later that night. That was definitely fun.

Yesterday I woke up at nine and made cookies and then went with them to Frank's house where we watched Harry Potter and The Sorcerer's Stone. We also ate a lot of food which was fun.

Today I have to go to work in about eleven hours and then I have to save the world so I'm kind of running on a tight schedule at the moment I have no idea when I'm going to do summer reading but I'm really screwed yeah.
