That's reassuring. If it's not happened yet...

I think that would be doubly devastating somehow, even though one obviously wouldn't remember. And even I can tell that this is a strange place, so who knows.

About the closest that has happened, far as I can tell, is people leaving the island somehow just to come back later. And even then, they seem to retain memories.

How have you been doing? I know adjusting is hard, but it will come with time. In a way.

That's very kind of you. I've been venturing out to eat, but mostly contemplating this.

I've been doing well, I think. I am also feeling a bit more social, so you'll see more of me out there.

I did a lot of that when I first arrived. It does get easier with time. Slightly.

That's good to hear! I understand wanting to keep to yourself, but you shouldn't just spend all day alone in your room.

Indeed it is. The first few days were not comfortable, so I'm glad that I can finally wake up and not have a panic attack.

I don't think I've seen you around; how long have you been here?
