I read a new spoiler at tvguide.com and it isn't a very joyful spoiler, but there's hope and hope never dies, right?

Ausiello: Ryan lands in some serious hot water when Horatio finds out he used his connections to try to settle a gambling debt. Meanwhile, look for some major sparkage between Calleigh and Delko.

Me neither. I really don't see Ryan as a gambler. At all. It doesn't say "his debt", but now I don't like "uses his connections". It suggests that he's being underhand, and I can't see that in Ryan either. I think I might take my big stick and go after those writers. They obviously need some encouragement to get things right.

I'll watch it anyway too. And I agree with Dutchie about them making noises about something being major and it turns out to be disappointing. Like at the end of S4 when one of the team was going to be killed, and it was Jessop. Nice guy, but one of the team? Not as far as I'm concerned.

I just don't see Eric and Calleigh. I think she'd be wise to his previous relationship history, and not want to end up cast aside like all his other girlfriends. We know, of course, that that's because he hasn't found the right guy yet. *cough*Ryan*cough*!

Thanks for your comments. They gave me hope that everything won't turn out as I imagine now.
The Ryan storyline could be an interesting one. We have to wait and see.

About Eric's relationships: People can change and maybe Eric is able to commit when love finds him. ;-)
But as you both mentioned a possible relationship would seem to appear from nowhere.
