!!! This post makes me so happy - I love to see NZ music being pimped. And you've made me appreciate this music video all over again. It really is very pretty, isn't it?

I LOVE YOUR ICON. That She & Him video is filled with Zooey Deschanel/Joseph Gordon-Levitt and the song is wonderful anyway. So cute.

I was surprised to find out this video of "Something in the Water" is actually a few months old since I've just found out about it. I really, really enjoy it!

Gosh, the song is catchy! And I adore the colors in the video. Hee, and I squealed a little when I saw the Penguin clothbound.

Thank you for sharing this video! I like the song, and will definitely sample more of Brooke Fraser's work.

I'm so glad you like it! I really hope I can share things that others might also enjoy. Brooke Fraser is a wonderful Christian singer and songwriter so I highly recommend checking out more of work. (e.g. "C.S. Lewis Song")

I haven't seen the video (being in the UK), so thank you for the link. I have had the album for a while though and it is one of my favourite tracks. I really love all of her stuff.

I love Brooke Fraser and love this song! However I'm a little disappointed in this CD, not enuf inspirational songs - seemed too secular? There weren't as many songs that spoke to the heart as in her previous albums... unless I'm the only one who thinks so?

I definitely know what you mean - I think so too. At the same time, I like the variety and the more upbeat songs that are on this newest album... Her style seems to be shifting to slightly more secular, like Joy Williams, with the indie/folk/pop sound. Maybe Brooke Fraser can reach a wider audience who will look at her older music too?

That's a possibility about reaching a wider audience - my daughter made that suggestion to me too! I wonder if Brooke intended it that way. I'll still be hoping for some soul-stirring songs on the next one! :)
