I've stumbled upon Ruche before, and I agree - so pretty! I enjoyed flipping through the "Unending Love" lookbook. It does look inspired by The Notebook! Especially with the rowboat shots.

The swimsuits are so cute! My favorite's the yellow one. I like the vintage cut.

Yeah, I love the vintage cut, too. I've been looking for bathing suits like this for ages - I just love them!

Over the last year or so I've been compiling a more complete vintage-inspired wardrobe as well, what a funny coincidence! I've window shopped at Ruche before but prefer what I believe is considered their 'competitor', Modcloth :) I own quite a few pieces from their website at this point, but by far my favourite purchase is the "Beach Blanket Bingo One Piece", which I own in black. I always get compliments when I wear it and I love that it appears to be modeled after Marilyn Monroe's now famous white bathing suit. It makes me feel very feminine and sexy while not having to worry about a wardrobe malfunction or being too bare ( ... )

Ooh, I think I've seen Modcloth before too. Thanks for the link! I'm also looking for a fancy dress for a friend's wedding so I checked out their dresses. Unfortunately they don't have much that's small enough for me.

Your bathing suit is cute! It looks very similar to that yellow bathing suit I got. (Actually it looks like a mix of the two!) :) I agree, it's worth investing in a bathing suit, especially since I haven't found anything else. Plus, I looked at the people behind "Ruche" and it seems like a good little business to support (as opposed to Old Navy or Wal Mart, haha). It's so nice to have a cute/feminine/sexy and modest bathing suit. I can't wait to get these in the mail!

Now if I could only find a nice dress...

Isn't it lovely? I can't wait to get it in the mail. (And I'm glad I got it when I did since it's almost out of stock... It's funny that there's only XS left since everything else usually sells out of my size.)
I'm glad you enjoyed the site. :)

Yeah, now I kind of want a cute vintage hat like that, too, heehee.

I love that "little bit of vintage" style, as I'm an hourglass so that sort of cut suits me more than a lot of modern trends. Both of those swimsuits are gorgeous!

I'm glad you like them. :) I love the vintage style too, and I love the sweetheart neckline - it's definitely flattering for petite li'l me.
