I dont get it.

There's different level of being a fan.

I m just saying I will stop being crazy, buying multiple copies of the same albums, every merch, DVDs they produced.

But I never said I will quit listening to the songs right?

sincerely (and no offense) I never understood the kind of fans you describe. is really crazy and foolish for me buying multiple copies of the same albums...XD
Perhaps I'm a too normal kind of fan, only if I really like an artist then I can buy all his albums and DVDs (in fact I have all of Arashi's), but normally I prefer to be sure that I like at least most of the songs in order to buy something. and I'm not really interested in the goods, merch etc. I mean, I'm very happy to have them! but I would't spend so much for them...maybe it's because I've never had a lot of money to spend, but I have always been so "logical" XD

I'm also not the type of fans that when I see my idol I chasing him ahaha XD

I know... I never understood why I felt the need. It's like I have 3 copies of in heaven cause they had it in different colored covers :/ (citing only 1 example here) and it's not like I make lots of money. I spent every last penny of my pay on stuffs like that.

I kind of think it's ridiculous now. Meh.
