Today at work, two little boys picked up the same box of knockoff lego, a set with a girl and some flowers and a picnic table

They were both angrily told by their parents, "Put that back, that's a girl's toy."

This made me very sad :(

Wait, what makes it a girl's toy? The flowers? Or the fact that its not a car or GIJoe or something? My mom was the same way with me, any time I'd find a kickass Jurrasic Park toy she'd complain about it like I was going to become a lumberjack or something

I mean sure I was big into Barbies and Polly Pockets but when I wanted a ninja turtle or the black power ranger, or when I played with my brother's Biker Mice from Mars set, no one told me I couldn't have "boy" toys
