Thinking of doing a working holiday in not-Japan once the JET alternates deadline has passed

idk would just be nice to be doing my own thing and having adventures and seeing what is out there and maybe I don't want to have those adventures in Japan okay?? Maybe after like six years I am a little tired of thinking about it.

Opinions?

Yeah! Check out Eastern Canada! Or move to Vancouver. Or do something else that involves travelling/living your dreams/being happy hooray!

Or go back to Victoria and get yours Masters in Pacific Asian Studies--didn't you say you had at least one prof who would totally be your supervisor if you decided to do that? Having a Masters totally ups your eligibilty for JET programs etc, too!

Hmm my response would vary depending on WHEN you are going.

Dec to Mar, I wouldn't choose England. It's cold, it's dark, it's miserable and sucky. April onwards at least you can see the weather getting better and the days getting longer!

So if it's that kind of time, I'd head for the mediterranean (ITALY) or mebbe South of France. Plus if you're in Europe and not a sucky cold island, it's easier to travel around on rail!

How long you're wanting to spend on this working holiday is also a factor. Being in Europe would give you more variety of places to go compared to New Zealand, if you wanna sight see and stuff. However New Zealand has Whittakers kiwi chocolate, and that is a gorgeous thing. The country itself is also a stunner.

;_; Kiwi chocolate that I can't get in London.

Anyhoo December is half a year away, so super early to be making any concrete decisions. Nice to think about though.

Just realised that Canada didn't even get know mention.

Have no idea why anyone would want to go there really...
