Ugh...

Worked at Mountain House yesterday. There was hardly any traffic and I was baking my brains out, but I still felt all right at the end of the day. Catching the last episode of Queer As Folk didn't hurt, either. :) I love that series, and intend to get it all on DVD as soon as I get the $$$. Oh SNAP, I went to Tracy yesterday and the thought entered my mind, "Is Curt working at Mountain House today?" But I figured you probably weren't and if you were, you were probably busy :(

The key to saving money on DVDs: a DVD burner and a Netflix subscription. Oh yes.

Don't feel guilty. You're trying to get your life in order. I don't expect you to call me all the time.

And OMG the sidequest/monster boss analogy? That is soooo hot.

DVD burner needs lots of RAM. My computer's working off a 56k processor right now. Downloading JPEGS takes 3 minutes; videos are closer to 3 hours.

I miss my old computer. I had lots of stuff on it. ;_;

I'll be at Mountain House next weekend, too. In fact, Fujin and I are supposed to be working there until her boss tells us to go somewhere else. Not that I have a problem with that.

Another solution to the DVD problem is to rent it at the local Blockbuster in Hayward with the Fujin's card, then have the fujin burn you a copy on her shiny new dvd burner while we play video games! At worst you will have to pay for the blank dvd's, the rental, and either a cd case of some soft slip cases for the dvd's themselves. I opt for dvd cases w/zippers
