Gratitude and (yep) more Greed.

Thanks to everyone who gave me ideas on how to handle my writer's block. It's still there, but I think we've put a few cracks in it. Now it's up to me to open it up the rest of the way ( Read more... )

Eh. Kingdom Hearts isn't dark enough for my tastes.

What kind of career are you looking for via Creative Writing?

Obviously you didn't get to the second half of the game. It gets a lot darker then.

I'd think it'd be obivous. :-p I wanna be a writer!

And I like games with a healthy amount of darkness, but not excessively so. I'll never play a survival horror game, but Kingdom Hearts and the Final Fantasies have just enough of a dark side for me.

(play the second half of the game like Isfa says)

Well, truth be told, I've never even picked the game up. It just seemed way too whimsical for me. I doubt the game could be as visceral as I like, however.

I'm thrilled to hear that at least a few cracks in the Block have been made! :D

Heh, I've got to find a way to play the FF games. I'm absolutely obsessed with Sephiroth, but I've never played any of the games. (DYING to get my hands on the Advent Children movie, though!)

Good luck with school and the writing! :D (And the game. LOL)

Thanks a bunch. ^_^ You really helped a lot.

FF7 is a great game to start with; it's easy to find, and a helluva lot of fun to play once you get past the 9-year-old graphics. I liked video games, but I was never really obsessed about them before getting my hands on it. Plus, it's the game Sephy made his debut in.

*smiles* I'm glad I could help, hun. :)

My ex-husband used to play FF (not sure which one, as that was about 5 years or so ago), so I got to see the game from that perspective. I've always loved games (though I can't play or watch 1st person games too long without getting sick). Hmm, need to find a way to get my hands on FF7.

My obsession is more for the character of Sephi than the game itself, though I'm positively itching to get my hands on Advent Children.

That's really nice of you. (especially considering how "often" we talk anymore; sorry about losing touch!)

But I have an EB-Games discount. All's I gotta do is wait till Terry says it's OK; he's my financial manager (AKA my spend-whore leash).

I could actually get you the Yami No Matsuei soundtrack though.. might be a
while to grab, but sending would be easy.

And unscratched copy of KH 1 will be tough as the popularity of it sky rocketed
since KH2 came out. To which I also don't have.. c.x;

....And tell Brightmane Shisho to post morrrrrre!!!! @`.o;;;
*paws at him as it's the new month and he needs an excuse*

Heh. I picked up KH2 today, and my friend mwenzake is going to send me a new copy of KH1. ^_^

I'll tell Brightmane to post more as soon as he starts talking to me again. He's a bit miffed with me at the moment.

Nothing bad, really...it's just very easy to get him riled up over little things, and then he's in a bad mood for a few hours, and then he feels better. Usually by the next morning.

I don't even remember what the last one was about. But he's talking again, which means he'll post soon. ^_^
