Happy early birthday!

There are tons of good games for the DS. New Super Mario Bros, Pokemon HeartGold/SoulSilver and Diamond/Pearl/Platinum...there is a FF12 prequel and a Kingdom Hearts spinoff if you enjoyed either of those games...I could keep going :)

Sorry for the spoilers, but I can't resist - Prince of Persia starts out with a scene of Jake Gyllenhaal mud-wrestling shirtless. If you liked Pirates of the Carribean, and you ever played Prince of Persia, you will enjoy it.

And for what it's worth, I still think Brokeback was a great movie. I'd recommend it. Even if just for Jake Gyllenhaal and Heath Ledger (RIP!) being sexy together. Also - if you like 80's music and supernatural phenomena, check out Donnie Darko. It was his first big role.

I've had the biggest crush on him for years, so I guess I'm a little biased =P

I'm gonna be seeing it on Monday...between dinner and mall-crawling, I was too beat to do it yesterday.

(For the record, if you buy your games from Gamestop, make damn sure they put the discs in their cases before you walk out of the store!)

I do like what I've seen of Ledger (RIP), and I may try other Gyllenhaal movies, but Brokeback is off the list. I just can't stand the standard "gay drama movie" structure: boy meets boy, boy likes boy, boy fights unwanted sexual attraction/social stigma, boy loses boy to illness and/or gay bashing. It's depressing. Still, I was always somewhat curious about Donnie Darko...it's been recommended to me in the past.

I loved Kingdom Hearts and KH2, so the spinoffs might be good. Though I'm more interested in Birth By Sleep than 358/2 Days...I'm a little burnt out on the Org XIII hype. And of course, I DEFINITELY want SMB for the DS. Mario games have always been frustrating as hell for me, but no less fun because of it.

Ironically, I thought some of the best moments in Brokeback came when they were with their respective wives. I do see your point, though =(

I understand. Bear in mind, I'm not knocking anyone who likes the movie...I like things no one else can stand either. It's just not for me.
