Funemployment!

Being unemployed isn't fun. I don't get people who can get laid off and then take off on a mini vacation or something. I'm constantly alternating between frantic panic, boredom, intense self-loathing and oddly misplaced guilt.

For instance, right now I'm at Unicorn drinking a beer, waiting for lunch. And I'm kind of sad because I'm alone.

Yeah my whole team of five people got laid off a couple weeks ago so I'm on the prowl. Unemployment is nice but definitely not preferable to real employment.

I know we're not in the same situation but I can relate to the whole "proving your daily activities worth". I feel as though I have to show what I've accomplished to the world bc I'm not working in the traditional sense. Its a weird mind screw. Try and enjoy at least one afternoon a week bc unemployment times for you will not last:)
