I don't know you but you seem pretty cool. I just wanted to say, don't write anything off as this or that. I think I was in kind of a similar situation to you when I was finishing high school. Now I'm finishing college (at Drew, near where you are). I have no real regrets, but at the same time it's been 3 years since I was last in Israel on a trip which hardly counted. I want the next time I go to be for the long term, so now I'm talking about going to work for a couple of years after graduation to save money. putting it off even more, who knows what will happen. Don't call yourself crazy for considering the army, or college there, or whatever. It's all been done. Maybe you could consider a year program there before college here. All I know is that I miss it like crazy, I had an incredible year there in 11th grade and I know to some degree what you're going through.
