Yes, thank you! I hope I never bump into any of these people, and if I do, I'll just refer them to this post. :~D

(Amchair psychology warning below..? Plus, I don't remember some bits of Furuba all that well, so correct me if I get something wrong.)

Some people may say that the fact that Tohru loves and forgives everyone etc is why she's a Mary Sue, but seriously, if you take a girl with a genuinely sunny outlook and gives her a fear of being alone/abandoned, of course she'll want to see the best in everyone! And she'll forgive them because she believes them to be good, and because of a fear that if she doesn't, they might leave her too... That goes the opposite way as well; if she believes everyone to be good it'll hurt even more when they turn out not to be ( ... )

And it doesn't even have to be romantic love, it could be friendship love, like in this case!

...I have mentioned how much I detest that Tokyopop labelled the manga Comedy/Romance, right?
