He considered spinning round in his chair, but instead stood, closing the book and dropping it on his chair before she could say anything, striding out of the small room.

When Regina opened her mouth to speak, Nathan had already gotten out of his chair to move out of the room; she blinked and followed, if only out of surprise. After a short while, she stopped strolling behind him, pointing in the other direction.
"We should take that exit. I saw the boy near Freya."

As he felt the warm summer air start to burn his throat, he began to regret being so unfit, but that washed away quickly as he reminded himself of what he was doing. He tried to run faster, but the feeling of his legs slowly turning to jelly stopped him and he slowed to a grateful walk outside Freya, before pressing a palm against the hot wall of the building and breathing in and out quickly.
It was too hot.
"Where was he?"

She scanned the Freya area and saw the boy again, who, this time, was turning a corner and walking toward a tree in the grass area.
"There!" She pointed, making a move to get there as close as she could.
