Do not leave your houses and stay where things cannot be easily broken into. Windows, doors, slotholes and the like must be avoided. High places are often best... Oh, but I've never dealt with or studied zombies much. Inferi or horrid enough, I don't know what should be said beyond what can be found in all the cliche movies.

Miss Hermione!

Is it alright if I try to bring people to the room, too? I'm not sure what else I should do.

Yes, of course. I said before that when it's needed the room can be used as a shelter.

Do you need some help getting them here, Lucas?

...I think I'll be OK. You should help the people who can't protect themselves very well - everyone in town will be in a lot of danger.

Thinking isn't knowing for certain, Lucas. If you need help, I'll-- I'll send a patronus out periodically to you if it doesn't return I'll know something's happened, how's that? [Frowning and thinking.] I suppose should explain what that is, shouldn't I?

I know that well enough. There's a reason I'm opening the doors to the D.A. and hardly staying in them myself. The D.A. was made not only to protect ourselves but those around us.

Miss Nina? Good, I'm happy to hear it... I don't want either of you two to go out if there's a chance you may become injured.

[Biting her lip.] Yes, that's what all the muggle stories have said. Completely barbaric, but it's not as if-- Well, they aren't themselves, still it's the principle of the matter.

[Didn't Aaron tell him to talk to the D.A. when they met? Now seemed as good a time as any, so there's quite a young voice over the phones.]

I'd like to help, if I can. I'm not a fighter, but I could assist in keeping a look-out?

Honestly, it would be better if everyone stopped trying to fight them. More causalities will only result.

[She bit her lips. Hermione didn't know this voice yet, but.] Look-out. You'll manage to do it safely, won't you? I don't want anyone near anything that might potentially become dangerous to them.

[It's encouraging to Cain that she sounds youngish as well, maybe he won't be penalised for being a child.]

Anything at all I can help with, I will. And I'll do my best to keep safe, Miss.

If you find yourself full, I can offer the place I found as far as protection is concerned. It, like your Defense Association, is fortified.

[Hermione has to be a bit skeptical, forgive her.] When you say fortified, what do you mean? What defenses are in place? Provisions?

[ The skepticism is appreciated, actually. ]

The entrance has been strengthened to withstand full frontal attacks and there's plenty of food and water, in addition to weaponry just in case.

And, since I found this place, I make sure to check people upon arrival if they have bite marks from the undead.

I don't know if you know General Armstrong, but we just finished setting up an underground base at her house. It's at 851 Goldberg Street and it's well protected.

Major General...? Armstrong, do you mean? I knew her briefly months ago... I helped her a bit, but that was before she was droned. Are you saying she's back?

Yeah, that's her. She came back a few weeks ago.
