[Hermione's had a rough couple of days, to say the least! Having the person who tortured you and you knew to be dead suddenly turn up? Well, it's enough to cause anyone emotional turmoil. So on the morning she decides to give her warning also ends up being the day Mayfield starts it's latest game. Onward!]

[ Despite Rita's claims just a few minutes prior about not caring, this message catches her interest. ]

So she discriminates based on somebody's aptitude for using magic artes?

That's stupid.

I agree. Unfortunately, she's not the only one. There was a whole war just being fought on that matter in my world.

What do you mean by "my world"?

Well, a lot of people come from Earth , but there appear to be many variations of it. There are others who don't even know Earth exists. It's impossible to just assume everyone's from the same Earth. However, in this case, the Magical World and Non-Magical World are practically their own. Witches and Wizards separated themselves from non-magical people during the witch trials. In result they've become a hidden society.

"Thank you for the warning... May I ask if her master is here... Or... If this being a Muggle is a bad thing? Magical societies are... Somewhat confusing to me as I have no background with them."

No, there is absolutely nothing wrong with being a muggle. My parents are and I'm quite proud of it. As for her master, if he were we would have said something ages ago. His younger self had been here, but has since been droned.

"Would that be Tom? His drone is still here so I will keep an eye out for her. Thank you for the warning."

"I was just curious about the muggle thing because of some of the things he said before being droned."

This town just keeps pulling in that sort of people.. [ A very tiny sigh. ] It seems they like to make it as difficult on us as possible.

Thank you for the warning, though. It'd be more efficient if everyone who knew a person like that would bother warning others.

There's a few I've noticed, but not nearly so many as those of us who aren't at all like it. [Frowning.]

Unfortunately, we can't expect everyone to do so. If the circumstances were different and not as a threat to the people here, I mightn't have said anything. That's... not the case, however, and if we could possibly have a compromised list of those sorts it'd be help to all of us.

Just a few is already enough to deal with, though. It's enough that this town itself is already endangering us, let alone that some people here feel the need to stir up trouble as well.

Exactly. As long as someone's a threat, it should just be known to everyone just in case.

Honestly? Sometimes I don't believe I ever will either. I was born with magic, but not into it. A lot of what I've seen is absolutely barbaric, but there are things that make up for it.

...she did what?

[Biting her lip.] Tortured me, among other things. She seems to take enjoyment in seeing how long it takes to break someone. I'm hardly the first one she's done it to.

What...just for the way you were born? You couldn't help that! And there's nothing wrong with not having magic, most of my closest friends don't have it either! That's just as bad as killing people just because they do have magic!

People have been killing each others for centuries just because of the way they were born, you know. I wasn't tortured solely on being muggleborn, although if she had the chance before I'm sure she would have... There were answers she wanted and since I was the one with the least value I was taken first. [Hermione shook her head.] Not that she got nearly so much as what she wanted.
