[The entry starts off as audio, and throughout this portion of the presentation, there's a soft kind of gurgling, clicking noise, which sort of sounds like something that could be out of a Jurassic Park film. Trip is mostly ignoring it, although those with particularly sharp ears can tell he's pacing around his room a little.]

That's kinda what I was thinkin' but it doesn't seem to be breathing fire or smoking or anythin'. Or do baby ones not do that? I can't say I've ever had opportunity to see a real one before.

I've only ever seen one. He....wasn't a baby. Definitely breathed fire, though.

A much lower price than Captain Archer nearly paid. [It's okay Trip, she secretly loves you. c: Even if you bring crazy shit home.]

At least he didn't bring the hatchlings back home with him. Can you imagine, us tryin' to raise a bunch of baby Insectoids?

It definitely looks like a dragon to me.

Everyone will be so disappointed when it never breathes fire or gets bigger than a cat xD inhistorybooks June 25 2011, 23:57:04 UTC
So that's two votes for dragon. You know, I'd definitely buy it if we'd just come from some... Lord of the Rings environment, but dragons on a space port? But I guess I'm just glad it wasn't something that'd end up punching through my chest later on to terrify everyone and wreak havoc on the ship or somethin'.

Martha will for sure! thegooddrjones June 25 2011, 23:59:28 UTC
Did I ever tell you about the space witches, Trip? You'd be surprised what you can find in outer space.

That... appears to be a whelp. You said it came from the port? Oh dear. His parents are going to be looking for him. This is a very serious matter.

If they were looking for him, they probably shouldn't have left their egg unattended, complete with a surrogate parent defense mechanism installed.

Are you sure that's what it was?

It's adorable. I found a different lizard like creature, but it will be going back to its parents, I hope.

Yes, only this one was green and had four legs, plus a pair of arms. And it didn't have wings. Still, it seemed similar to what you have.
