List three books that have changed your life:

1. The Bible
It's been such an institution in my house, I can hardly call it a book that's changed my life, but in all fairness it must be included, because it's formed the foundation of my worldview, my values, and my hope when this life is over.

2. U-Boat Adventures by Melanie Wiggins

I know this is probably bad of me to admit, but I haven't read the entire Bible. I probably should read it outside of just in Church. :(

That's not bad of you to admit at all! I admire your honesty. I probably wouldn't have been able to read through the Bible, either, were it not for the fact that my sister and I try to read a chapter every time we eat. Two birds with one stone, so to speak. But mind you, it's tough going through some of those Old Testament lists. XD Besides, it's never too late to start reading it more. My mother only read Gen 1:1 til about 20 or 25 years old. So I encourage you!

Thanks for the encouragement, but I still feel bad about it. :( (Even badder that most of the time, reading the Bible doesn't even cross my mind.)

Yes, I know that's understandable. But I always say that recognizing a problem is the first step towards fixing it. Not many people get as far as where you are. You know, you can probably get yourself started by reading one of Spurgeon's little devotionals every day. He wrote a short verse-inspired paragraph for each day of the year, and you can get them daily at http://www.heartlight.org/spurgeon/

Though I too feel the way you do sometimes. My sister seems more "holy" than I am, lol, but then I guess that just shows us how much we need Jesus Christ to patch us up. :)
