I am getting severely pissed off at the people ragging on my machine for being pretty but not too high powered. Fuck, no, you do not get to say that about my laptop, no matter how much I make fun of it in your presence. It is my machine. You can keep your fucking patronising "Oh, I'd rather have something that worked well than something pretty." to your goddamned self, or I will hurt you. Lots. I don't fucking CARE what you want and how crappy my machine is in comparison to your fucking dream machine, because I am PERFECTLY HAPPY with my baby and I swear to god, I will KICK YOU IN THE BALLS, THEN GET YOU IN THE FACE WHEN YOU'RE CURLED UP IN PAIN.

Goddamned idiot boys. Are not worth the air they breathe.

XD And uh. That said.

My super pretty, super useless but super fashionable Sony Vaio C31GH/W is finally in my grubby paws. ♥ It is blissful except I'm not quite sure what to name it. Tentatively, I've been calling her Priscilla after the uh, somewhat whacked out Claymore just because nicknaming it Prissy is somewhat amusing but Teresa would suit it better. >> Except you can't get a good nickname out of that. :D;

I thought about Sae-san after Saeki, because it is also silverwhite and pretty (in fact, it's officially seashell white) but it lacked the gravitas of this machine. :D; Not that Prissy was any better.

Could've called it Sana from Kodocha, for its absolute hyperactive speed, but she was all of twelve. XD; And while I loved that series, it uh. Didn't quite suit.

I should just call it Shinobu after Koko wa Greenwood and be done with it, but then I'd be scared that it would slay me just when I'd become complacent. :D; Mitsuru was my favourite, anyway.

Jo suggest Rhode from d.gray, for her lethal streak and random love of the pretties - she wears a frilly shirt, dresses Rinali up in pretty Victorian dresses - but uh. :D; Yet again, it would KILL ME.

Maybe I'll pun and call it Ginko. >> That's sorta asking for it to be infected with all sorts of viruses, though it would clear them up no problem. XD; Or maybe it would uh, eat viruses for breakfast.

Perhaps I should call it Mokkun from Shounen Onmyouji. ;Dv They are both white and somewhat hilarious and uh, okay, the laptop lacks a Guren morph where he goes from HIGHLY ANIMATED white plushthing to STOIC HALF NAKED pretty boy, but that can only be a plus. XD; We never did get around the finising the Masahiro and Princess costumes but um, Osaka-fest proved we could probably do them given time, material and effort. Lawl.

I might just call her Narcissa, or Cissy. >> She's that type.

Pictures to come when freaking Sony Ericsson updates its drivers for PC Suite on Vista and I can hook up the camera phone. ;D Also to come, a picture of my infamous x-men swimsuit, as shown on the display model because dschjasjkd ha, and a photo documentary of the various legwear as worn by me. ;Dv

In other news, if I were theoretically going to open a panfandom rpg based on OkCupid, who would join? ;D

Remember! This is all theoretical, but~

Has anyone used OKCupid? It's this terribly trashy but utterly hysterical free online dating service - it's the one with all those user made quizzes and such, which can be taken by people who aren't members but if you are, it compiles all your results and gives you your own little profile thing for you to fill in.

Another feature it has is IM. And private emails, in site so the other person does not have your contact details. So. XD bakashoujiki and I might have been talking about how cool an rpg done entirely in letters. The conversation MIGHT have gone like this:

not!em (8:00:39 PM): I think doing an epistolary RPG would be really interesting.
not!em (8:01:23 PM): Like, no journals, everything in the comm is supposed to be letters to other characters that tell some kind of story.
not!em (8:01:39 PM): However, I can also see that that might be disasterous
not!me (8:02:55 PM): by owls? newspaper articles? and such?
not!me (8:03:07 PM): I think it's been done but I can't remember where
not!em (8:03:42 PM): I was thinking just letters :o Not necessarily HP related
not!me (8:05:49 PM): :O it would be a fairly restricted set of fandoms you could do it in. or timeperiods.
not!me (8:06:00 PM): letters are so rare these days.
not!em (8:06:15 PM): emails could work too
not!em (8:06:34 PM): I don't know, Journals are kind of boring for me.
not!me (8:08:29 PM): emails, letters, IM transcripts if you're being realistic, sms/txts, however else you communicate with others.

not!me (8:14:59 PM): what fandom could you even use for it? XD;
not!em (8:16:39 PM): It could be original characters. Or basically any fandom that has "agents." Over the years people get promoted and transfered and it can be hard to keep up without IM and email. And maybe you don't see them as often
not!em (8:16:44 PM): If ever at all
not!em (8:16:48 PM): Or any high school fandom
not!em (8:17:02 PM): They're all at different colleges now and keep in touch through emails and IM
not!me (8:19:04 PM): XD it would be a pointless, plotless rpg
not!em (8:19:57 PM): As it goes, this might work better as something original
not!me (8:21:54 PM): or something panfandom. XD; depending on what take you use.
not!em (8:21:24 PM): They're agents scattered around monitoring for signs of evil! These are their co-workers they are writing to! Who, since we both might watch too much anime and read too much manga, they develop all kinds of icky feelings for. Best of all! No porn possible!
not!me (8:23:03 PM): cybersex logs.
not!em (8:23:25 PM): "So like. Imagine I'm totally licking your nipples right now. And you can feel me against your thigh." "I'm sorry James... This just isn't it doing it for me.
not!em (8:23:38 PM): ^How Em imagines cybersex
not!me (8:26:08 PM): XD; I ... actually, yeah
not!em (8:25:37 PM): If such an RPG had a log like that it would = somuchwin.

not!me (8:29:07 PM): ;;; let's make this rpg
not!me (8:29:09 PM): somehow.
not!em (8:28:14 PM): You want to?
not!me (8:30:29 PM): why not? it would be interesting!
not!em (8:29:58 PM): We should figure out a fandom or original. And if anyone would actually be interested.
not!me (8:32:22 PM): if we made it panfandom, they would
not!me (8:32:33 PM): oh my god
not!me (8:32:35 PM): let's make it
not!me (8:32:39 PM): a panfandom version
not!me (8:32:40 PM): of
not!me (8:32:43 PM): OKCUPID
not!em (8:31:39 PM): wut.
not!me (8:32:49 PM): I AM LAUGHING LOTS.
not!me (8:32:53 PM): XD well.
not!me (8:32:55 PM): email.
not!me (8:32:58 PM): and IM. XD
not!em (8:31:54 PM): my brain just died a little
not!me (8:33:04 PM): and an excuse for bad personal profiles. XD
not!me (8:33:07 PM): XD it hurts.
not!em (8:32:00 PM): It works though!
not!me (8:33:12 PM): and yet. XD it would be so funny.

not!em (8:38:30 PM): And it wouldn't have to be all sex
not!em (8:38:31 PM): Like
not!em (8:38:44 PM): They could list what they're there for as well! Like on OKcupid!
not!me (8:40:02 PM): yes <3
not!me (8:40:16 PM): I like that XD we'll base applications on the OkC profile
not!me (8:40:47 PM): we can rig up the html, and put it in a text box, so people just need to copy&paste and fill things out
not!em (8:42:24 PM): I think their application should go in their profile or journal for the convenience of other characters.
not!me (8:44:21 PM): yes. in the profile, definitely.
not!em (8:44:50 PM): And then we won't have to ask for a writing sample in addition, because all of the communication should be first person hypothetically.
not!me (8:46:19 PM): sdmasgdjaghw UNLESS THEY GO ON RP DATES XD XD XD
not!em (8:47:47 PM): XD Alright fine, but journals?
not!em (8:48:16 PM): XD Dear god, why would anyone do this. Isn't online dating bad enough?

Well, dear flist? Is it? XD;

Pst. :D; Anyone got a good name for the comm?

For my next trick, I'd like to tell y'all about boyverse but that is a post for bucket_shot to make and deserves an entire page to itself. And then some. XD;
