RE: MANIFEST BLEACH COMMISSIONS

So we underestimated.

We went to Spotlight today. Again. One of the girls there recognises us and flees when we approach the counter. Uh. Picked up MORE material. And various other things that we forgot to account for, like interfacing (homg, backboards, OH MY GOD.)We're looking at adding $10 for the hakama, $5 ( Read more... )

Oh, you poor things! :O Can you still do mine, just the top with a fake lining? How much will that set me back? :O

... :D;;;;;;;;;;;; :D; $30 -- twenty for the yukata itself, and ten for the fake lining. ;3 If we have time, we'll throw in the tabi, too. :D;; But, uh. XD Will see how that goes? *death* <3 <3 You wear a size nine, yes?

Karen: XD; We found this deep pink cotton knit type for your sash, did you want it deep pink or light? Sells for $2 a metre, you'll probably only need one or two at the most. Want us to pick it up for you while we're there? I'd probably recommend hand sewing it into a very long tube, by cutting the metre of fabric in half, attaching the pieces at one end, and folding over lengthwise, sew the long edge, turn it inside out and tuck in the edges and seal up. :D; Your milleage may vary.

Awesome. :D If that's ok! Don't worry about the tabi, I have some ancient socks laying around I can use. :3

And that sash sounds lovely... let's go for light pink. I'm not sure I'll make it to the meet tomorrow so I'll measure myself for you. :3

Karen: Don't know if the sale material is in light pink, so will check the next time we spotlight :D;;; Might not be any because that was in the clearance stock and styles/colours are greatly limited. If not, there's always the cotton poplin.

Eh, it's still all good with me. :3
You guys do a good job (at least, you're more hardcore with selecting correct material type and all that than I'd ever be), and these hols feel way too short already (read: me = lazy), so slap on an extra $15 for me! (How much do I owe you now?)

Did you still want the separate white underrobe, or just the fake collar now? :O (If the former, then it'll be, uh. +10 for the hakama, and +5 for each yukata >>;;;;) ---Karen also wants to know when you work next, because she'll take your hakama over to check fit and length, hurhurr. ;E <3 She'll, uh. XD; Yeah. Hijack you. :D :D Instore. Nonono, uh. XD; But... yeah. *dies*

Whatever's easiest for you guys! <- chronically indecisive
XD;;

If the fake!yukata is easier to tack on, that's fine; if it's too fiddly and therefore easier to do with the rest of the black ones, that's fine too.

Ummm... I work Fridays 5-9pm.
And Saturdays 12-3pm. >_>;; Fear.

I hate making decisions... yeah, I'll just take up the outfit that Karen used last year... or maybe Jo's top if that's intact, as opposed to Karen't fake lining?? Hmm, confuse. ^^;

I might comission the tabi and shoes? 'cause they looked awesome. 8D

...both of us had fake lining. XD; Uh. But the problem with that is: If you wash it (which you will have to, because eiw :D; lastyear'sgrossness), uh. The black dye will run into the white (and stain it grey). <-so either way, the white will have to be removed from the black, and reattached. :D;;

We won't be able to make the shoes for you, but the tabi = yes. XD;; Uh. If you want to make your own shoes, though -- ours were just a pair of thongs wrapped in twine, like how deck-chairs are wrapped. 8D;;

Aha, cool. About the reattaching. I think I should be able to do it and use staples if necessary. Er, then yes, maybe I should just get the larger one, if there's a fear of shrinkage. But Karen and I are about the same size. Er, yes. <-- indecisive... really.

:Dv It's not really that hard. (Karen cries not to staple her yukata, though. :D;;) ... XD; Karen's is the larger one, I think. Mine's not so broad, because uh. I have no chest. :D;; *built like Sloo* We'll lend you her set. ♥

Karen: mine is too large for me, too. XD; So, washing it will hopefulle shrink it to a size that fits us both.

Um, if it doesn't kill you I'll stick with you guys. I did say any price is fine so long as it doesn't exceed $100. :D You don't have to worry about the tabi though, since I have tons of white socks lying around that I should, uh, easily be able to modify once I figure out how to. :D

Waist = 28"ish :D

I think. I had a hard time figuring out where I'm supposed to measure. |D;

Oh, I'll be paying you guys on the 3rd, if that's alright, since I don't know when I'll be able to otherwise.

XD! 28"~ sounds around right. :D Your waist is, uh. XD; Where you're going to tie your hakama around -- should be about the smallest part of your torso. |D

(That's okay~! :D Thank you in advance. ♥)
